GREEN AND HEALTHY PLANET

IFMA and the European Championship in muaythai organised by the Czech Muaythai Association in Prague has joined a range of current initiatives, which support a considerate approach to the planet and a healthy lifestyle.

The championship will include the new Green and Healthy Planet zone. Green and Healthy Planet is a step towards inspiring the idea that every one of us can act with respect, which is closely associated with Muaythai principles, also to planet every single day.The zone is being prepared by Vegan Fighter – a project that aims to inspire to sport on a plant-based nutrition. Nowadays, plant-based nutrition is increasingly recommended for training and regeneration and more importantly, according to the latest studies, plant-based food in the diet is the „greenest“ lifestyle.

The entire championship will of course be equipped with recycling points, where visitors and competitors can sort conventional waste. In the Green and Healthy Planet zone, there will be an offer of compostable dishes and the chance to become familiar with the Zero Waste Concept.

This concept aims to minimise waste to the lowest possible level that can be now achieved at events.Throughout the entire time in this zone, audiences and visitors will be able to taste interesting plant-based dishes prepared in cooperation with an acclaimed Czech vegan restaurant. The menu will be prepared in collaboration with pro athletes from Vegan Fighter.

Visitors will also have the chance to consult on plant-based sports supplements and nutrition from a certified Vegan Fighter nutritionist.The Vegan Fighter Young children’s sports corner will be available to children at the specified times, where they can try martial arts.
